SEO for Good
The gift that lasts all year
Every Christmas, we choose one Louisiana nonprofit, charity, or small business and give them a new website, original content, and a full year of search visibility — completely free.
If you fit one of these, you should apply
Mission-driven organizations
Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits doing real work in Louisiana — education, equity, health, housing, the arts. Established missions, established teams, room to grow.
Grassroots & community efforts
Mutual aid groups, fiscally-sponsored projects, religious organizations, community funds. Doing the work without the formal infrastructure of a big nonprofit.
Local owners who need a shot
Owner-operated businesses rooted in the community — the ones who can’t afford an agency and are getting outranked by competitors with bigger budgets.
Meet Flyte Education

Flyte Education breaks down financial barriers for entrepreneurs in Louisiana — providing knowledge, mentorship, and capital to women-of-color business owners from low and moderate-income households. They’ve served 250 businesses and secured $600k in financing.
Throughout 2026, we’re rebuilding their digital presence — new site, full SEO program, and original content that puts their mission in front of every entrepreneur who needs them.
The internet should work for everyone
There were months building this agency when nothing came in and I wondered if I’d have to give it up and go work for someone else. That feeling made me believe I failed, that I wasn’t good enough to run my own business. It sent me into a depression.
It sucked.
Nonprofits and small businesses live with that reality every day, mentally and financially. I don’t want anyone else sitting in that spot when a free website and a year of marketing could change it.
You’ll be working directly with me

Hi, I’m Steven. When you work with WTF SEO, you’re not getting passed between an account manager, a strategist, and an offshore content team. You’re working with our local team who handles every part of the work; and that’s exactly who your nonprofit, charity, or small business will get for the full year. No handoffs or AI assistant.

What we look for

A real story

Capacity to participate
A point of contact who can show up to monthly calls and provide content input.

New Orleans and Greater Louisiana focus. We want this to compound in our own backyard.

Quick answers to what most people want to know.
Is there really no cost?
Yes. Website, SEO, content, analytics, monthly strategy — all of it, free for 12 months. No mandatory service plan after. No hidden fees. The only thing we ask in return is that you let us tell your story.
What’s the difference between a nonprofit and a charity in your eligibility?
Functionally none — we use both terms because some organizations don’t fit the formal 501(c)(3) box. Mutual aid groups, fiscally-sponsored projects, religious organizations, and community funds doing real charitable work all qualify.
What happens after the year ends?
In December, we hand off everything — the site, documentation, training, and a clear playbook for what to do next. You can keep working with us at standard rates, take it in-house, or hand it to another agency. Zero pressure either way.
Can we apply if we already have a website?
Absolutely. A lot of recipients come in with an outdated or underperforming site. We’ll either rebuild it or work within what you have, depending on what makes sense.
Who writes the content?
We do. Real human writing, researched and tailored to your audience. We’ll need input from you, but we handle the actual writing, editing, and publishing.
Can I nominate an organization that isn’t mine?
Please do. Some of the best candidates are too busy doing the work to apply for things like this. The form has a “nominating someone else” path — fill in what you know and we’ll reach out.
What about hosting and ongoing site costs?
Hosting, maintenance, and security are all included for the full year. After the year ends, you’ll need to take over those costs (typically $20-50/month). We’ll set you up with affordable options.
For small businesses — how do you decide who qualifies?
We’re looking for owner-operated businesses with limited marketing budget and clear community roots. Not chains, not VC-backed startups. If you’re the kind of place where the owner is also the one answering the phone, you’re who this is for.
When is the recipient announced?
Before Christmas. The full year of work begins January 1 and runs through December — giving the recipient an entire calendar year of compounding results.
How can I help if I’m not eligible?
Nominate someone you know. Share the page with your network. Or talk to us about sponsoring future years — local businesses can co-fund expanded scope or additional recipients.
We’re not the only ones doing this
If you’re a nonprofit and a free website is what you need most, Trellis Marketing runs a similar program worth looking into. Their scope and timing are different from ours — they offer a website build with an ongoing service plan, on their own application cycle — but the spirit is the same.
Applying to both is fine (we encourage it). What matters is that you get the help you need.
